In today's nail video, we are testing out the new nail art sponge brushes for creating ombre / gradient effects!
Hey guys. Welcome back to www.newnailartvideos.com
In today’s nail video, we will be reviewing a new nail art sponge tool for creating Ombre ingredients. We thought it would be fun to test this tool out for you guys to see it actually work.
So let's get started. First of all this sponge tool has two sponge. One is more flat while the other one has a slightly pointed tip.
It also comes with four replacement sponges. So I am just going to start with a base coat than white nail polish for the base color. Then I'll be applying liquid latex around the nail to help protect the skin.
I am going to apply white and pink polish to the sponge. Just like they do with the regular makeup sponge. Then sponge the first layer onto the nail and okay so the first slayer came out a little wonky just because I was not used to working with this tool yet.
So for the second layer, I made sure to line up the sponge properly on the nail. And roll it from one side to the other first then carefully dab to blend the colors.
And I was actually pleasantly surprised at how it turned out not bad at all. I noticed some small pieces of sponge did transfer onto the nail but talk to be able to conceal that. So now, of course, I am going to remove the latex and clean up with Polish remover and brush.
Now the question is, can I remove the polish from the sponge without ruining it so it can be re-used.
I full up a little space with acetone and then press the “sponge tool” into for clean. I also doubted onto a paper towel to dry it out as much as possible. so far so good, it removed all the polish but I did notice at the sponge expanded a bit as you can see comparing it to one of their replacements sponges but I don't think that's too much of a negative.
So now, I am going to try the more pointed to see if there's any difference. For this, I am using a quote paint which I love to use when doing Ombre nails.
Acrylic paint blends so seamlessly which makes for a great Ombre and makes it much easier. This Ombre looks really good to you and the difference it didn't seem to matter.
Once, you remove the liquid latex, all you have to do to clean up be you some water and a brush which is another plus teasing a quote paint. No remover needed.
You also clean the sponge with just water as well. The aqua color stains it a little bit but all the paint was removed quickly. This side expanded a bit too. So I decided to see how the other side was doing.
The “sponge tool” totally shrunk. It is just all deformed and hard when I press on it doesn't have that spongy feeling anymore.
So it looks like, you will only be able to use a sponge tool once if you using regular Polish. Unlike when you use quote paint which will get you multiple uses. I also want to see how this would work for a glitter fall design.
As you can see, it transferred the glitter really well. So this is great for this type of design or if you want to cover the entire nail. Be sure to apply a glossy top quote without any lumps and bumps. Don’t forget cuticle oil if you cuticle starts to dry out like minded.
So I would give this tool four out of five stars because he did give me really good results plus having a handle with a round smaller sponge felt more precise and easier. Taking away one star because some of the sponges did transfer a little and you will have to keep producing replacements sponges.
If you use regular Polish and it seems like you can't just order the sponges alone.

10 Best Nail Polish Hacks EVERYONE Should Know! Today, I will be sharing with you 10 nail life hacks that you need in your life! We hope you enjoy
Hi guys. Welcome back to www.newnailartvideos.com. In today’s nail art video, I will be sharing ten awesome deal nail polish hacks that everyone should know.
These are some of our favorite nail hacks. We hope that you guys will try them out and find them helpful.
Let us know your favorite nail hack in the comments below.
And now on to the nail hacks. Hi, it's Mona. So let's jump right into it. The first hack is for a Vaseline barrier around the nail. All you need is some Vaseline or petroleum jelly and apply it around the nail.
You can even use Chap Stick or Neosporin. This barrier your help protect the nail if you tend to get nail polish on your skin.
After you're done painting the access polish can be easily wiped out. This works great for water marbling too.
The next hack will help you stabilize shaky hands. Rubber band and place it around your hands or around your wrist. Then go on and ‘nail polish’ as usual.
The tension from the band help through the shakiness safe and get a cleaner manicured.
No clean a brush. No problem, you can also use an angled eyebrow brush which works just as good. These precious have stiffer bristles which are great for cleaning up around the nail.
A lot of people have issues with bubbles in nail polish and a great hack is to roll the bottle between your hands instead of shaking it vigorously. Rolling it. It will still make the nail polish well and help prevent bubbles when applied.
Breaking a nail can be awful but there's an easy way to fix it. Just cut a small piece of paper from a tea bag and apply nail or super glued to where the break is and place the tea bag paper on to the nail.
Make sure it dries flat and turn off the excess. Apply another layer of blue on top and once it is dried, gently buffy area to smooth it out. Blend with the rest of the nail. Now you can polish as usual.
So now I'll be showing you how to make your own nail polish remover jar.
You will need a small jar and a couple kitchen sponges. Places sponge on top of one another and then roll them together. Fit them into the jar as good as you can. Then grab some polish remover and carefully pour it into the jar. You want to use a generous amount since the sponges will soak it up easily. Now place your finger between the sponges and twist from side to side until the polish is removed.
Make sure to securely tighten the cap to prevent the jar from drying out. So you can use it over and over.
For this hack, I'll be showing you an alternative to cuticle oil. It’s really simple but I love using grapeseed or all of the oil for my cuticles. You can pour a little oil into an anti-polish or dropper bottle or just apply it with your finger. it definitely does the job.
Another easy hack is to always prep your nails before polishing.
You can use a Q tip or cotton applicator dipped in remover to white any dirt or oil from the nail surface.
Doing this. It will help the polish and here better which will give you a longer lasting manicure.
Have you ever had trouble opening one of your favorite “nail polish” bottles? Then, this hack is totally for you.
Grab a Cup of warm water and placed the bottle upside down for a minute or so. Possibly longer if the bottle is the real stuff.
The warm water will help loosen the cap and then you can open the bottle again.
The last hack is great if you have a bunch of striping tape roll. If you love to organize things like me you can take an empty tape dispenser and place each roll onto it.
This makes it easier to store and use. So that's it.
